Janos (pronounced 'Yan-osh'), has been a Stretch Teacher for a number of years. when in Alicante, Spain, this year with all the other Stretch Teachers and Practitioners, we recorded a few interviews. Janos wanted to shoot his take on some of the foot exercises.
It was only on watching the edited version of this clip that I realised that Janos had included a couple of cues and variations that we had not seen: the rocking of the heel from side to side in the toe stretch, and the using of one fist to move the stress of the instep stretch more into the toes—I will be using both these cues from now on!
This is just one of the strengths of our Stretch Therapy system: constant innovation by interested people, and the fruits of this going out to all interested folk.
Best wishes for the festive season to you all,
Kit
